We had a fantastic stay at a small hotel in Bacalar. The owner, Francisco, provided excellent tips for activities and dining. The breakfast was delicious, with a stunning view of the lagoon. The hotel's location allowed for easy access to both the city center and the beautiful beach and lagoon. I highly recommend this hotel for a memorable vacation.

The experience at this place was absolutely mind-blowing! The owner, Francisco, took care of every detail, making sure we had hot water, good water pressure. The location, on top of a hill, offered the most jaw-dropping view of the lagoon. The staff, especially Nigri, were super friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast with made-to-order omelets and fresh squeezed OJ was simply fantastic. And let's not forget the super cool rooftop pool! Francisco went above and beyond, helping us with taxis and even offering to drive us around. GREAT value for an air-conditioned room with a flat-screen TV. Oh, and the filtered water in the main courtyard and the option for laundry service were definitely a plus. Plus, it's a pet-free and smoke-free zone. Such an incredible experience all around!

The location of the hotel was a bit inconvenient, as it was far from the main attractions. It was necessary to have a car or rely on taxis to get around, which could be an added expense.

We loved the hotel's rooftop terrace with a pool and lake views, the accommodating owner, early check-in and late check-out options, and the organized boat tour of the lake.
